After listening to music for the past hour or so... I just realized I never plugged in my speakers. The MBP speakers are surprisingly good.

About Me

My name is Ted Roden. This is my 'about me' page. 1 2

I live in New York City, but I grew up in Illinois before spending several years in Portland Oregon. I am married to a wonderful girl from Texas. I work at The New York Times as a Creative Technologist. Before that, I was a Senior Developer at vimeo.com.

I like music, computers and various sports teams. If you want to contact me, you should be able to find my email address on every page of this website.

This is what I looked like in September of 2007.

This photo was taken Justin and is being usde without his permission, but he's a great guy.

1. This is not a repeat post. I repost this page everytime I update it... so I guess it is a repeat post.

2. I hope to expand on this post soon, but I wanted to make sure this post had the most up to date information.

Justin is a pro. This is one of my favorites that he took at our wedding. Also, this one.

God's Plan

I'm pretty sure there is no need for a witty description when the picture is of a boat called God's Plan washed up on the shore.

Have you heard the news?

Twitter stinks! I follow myoung on twitter who posted a bunch of tweets today. I missed them all, including one that mentioned me by name. Check out twitteriffic not showing me. Thwirl was the same.

And when I tried to post this photo to tumblr, I noticed they weren't going to show the full sized image. That makes posting an image with text almost totally useless.

Yes, posting this one minor complaint has turned into way too many.
Changing both my relationship status (to married) and my job (to The New York Times) on various web sites. Feels good.
I just changed my wife's last name to be my last name in my Address Book.
Now it's our last name!
